Gary is a maker of maker spaces and an enthusiastic woodworker.  He is focused on starting at the tree, cutting it down and processing local wood from in his hometown of Berlin; the city that trees built. 


Gary provides cue repairs, builds and resells cues, as well as maintaining billiard house shafts, tips and ferrules at his shop at Assemble. He is an enthusiastic pool player, and you can try out pool equipment on his house table.  Gary travels to many tournaments across the New England area.

Gary loves teaching people the art of woodworking, exploring jigs, and streamlining processes. The wood studio is outfitted with hand tools and power tools to make anything from widgets to furniture. To have Gary assist you in any project text him at 603-723-0102

Gary Colombe is a recently retired Berlin Firefighter with 28 years of experience, with 14 years as Captain.  Certified Firefighter II, Certified firefighter State Instructor, Certified HAZ-MAT Technician, Certified National Incident Management System, as well as serving as an NH Deputy Fire Warden.  

Gary is an advocate for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and a supporter of Operation Warm. A former NH State Representative from 2011-2014, Gary served on the Labor Committee and Constitutional Review Committee, representing Coos County District 3.


Gary has served as Secretary on the TCCAP Board of Directors since 2013,  with past volunteer experience as President of Nansen Ski Club, Local Works Farmers’ Market, WREN Works Maker Studio, and lecturer at St. Anne’s.


Gary enjoys skiing, sailing, kayaking, repairing pool cues and playing in billiard tournaments across New England. He is proudly born and raised in beautiful Berlin, living with his girlfriend, step-son, and two Vizslas.
